DIAGNOSTICS

Could an unknown illness or injury be plaguing your pet?

When humans get sick or hurt, they go to the doctor, describe their symptoms and receive the appropriate care. With pets, it’s not always this straightforward. Because they can’t speak, our animal companions can’t tell us when something is bothering them.

What’s more, many pets are able to hide the signs of illness, allowing it to develop and worsen undetected.

Veterinary diagnostics enable the Ceres Veterinary Clinic team to identify and treat health problems in a timely manner. Faster diagnosis of injury and illness can vastly improve the chances of a positive outcome.

Laboratory

Our on-premises diagnostic laboratory makes it fast and efficient to run a wide variety of tests. In many cases, we can have results in just minutes. This means we can have a treatment strategy in place before you and your pet even leave the exam room.

Imaging

When a physical exam and laboratory testing aren’t enough to reach a diagnosis, we turn to advanced imaging technology, such as x-rays and ultrasound. These tools allow us to examine the bones and internal organs, identifying injuries, diagnosing illness and determining its severity.

Images can be evaluated by our team in real-time or shared electronically with specialists if necessary.

If your pet has been acting a bit out of sorts lately, don’t take chances. Give the experienced professionals at Ceres Veterinary Clinic a call right away. We’ll get to the bottom of the problem and get your best friend back on the path to good health again.
