Behavioral Counseling

You could probably list a million little things your pet does to make you smile, entertain you and bring joy to your life. What about that one negative behavior or bad habit that drives you crazy? Bad pet behavior can stand in the way of developing that all important human-animal bond with your pet, and can make it difficult to embrace your dog or cat as the integral part of the family you want them to be. If you’re struggling with unwanted behavior, you’re not alone. The team at Ceres Veterinary Clinic can help!

Our team of professionals is trained and experienced in animal behavior and can help get to the bottom of what’s causing your pet to act out. In many cases, the outward behavior is merely a symptom of a bigger underlying problem. The only way to truly overcome bad behavior permanently is by identifying and addressing the root cause. We’re prepared to arm you with all of the education, tools and support you need to help shape your pet into the well behaved member of the family you know he or she is capable of becoming.

Some of the unwanted pet behaviors we can provide assistance with include:

  • House Training Problems
  • Aggression
  • Excessive Barking
  • Destructive Behavior
  • Biting
  • Chewing
  • Separation Anxiety
  • And More….

If a negative behavior or bad habit is standing in the way of you developing a loving relationship with your animal companion, don’t wait another moment! Let us work with you to get to the bottom of the problem, and then develop a plan for eliminating that bad behavior once and for all.

when we got our 6 week old Bassett hound we thought we had a healthy pup four days of having her she was sick and no vet would take us in Dr Cassidy welcomed us. none of us thought she would survive but here it is 2 years later and miss copper is healthy. Then we had to bring in our english mastiff with possibilities of having to either amputate or put her down. today miss molly mae is fully recovered with all four legs.
